How to weight the personality profile in Tengai

You can weight how the six personality facets count towards the candidate's result. This article shows you where to do it and which profiles are available.

Weight the profile

  1. Go to Assignments, click Settings on the assignment and then Edit assignment.

  2. Go to 3/3: Personality.

  3. Click Edit profile.

  4. Choose a profile:

  • Neutral profile: all six facets are weighted equally. This is the default when the assignment is created through an ATS.

  • Thoroughness: a preset profile that favours a few selected facets.

  • Aspiration: a preset profile that favours other facets.

  • Tailored profile: you drag the facets into the order you want, until the weighting feels right for the role.

  1. Click Save and go back.

  2. Click Preview assignment and then Publish assignment.

Coming from an ATS?

If you create the assignment through an ATS, it gets the Neutral profile by default. To change the weighting, do it afterwards in Tengai, with the same steps.

Change the weighting later

You can go back and choose a different profile at any time. If you reweight the facets, the system automatically recalculates the result for all candidates, including those who have already taken their interview.
