  1. Go to recruiting.tengai.io and log in as a recruiter.

  2. In the menu on the left, you find Assignments, Templates, Library and Admin. When you log in, you land directly on Assignments.

Create the assignment

  1. Click New assignment.

  2. Enter a name in Assignment name. Candidates see the name, so choose one they recognise.

  3. Choose the Final interview date.

  4. Choose the Department.

  5. Internal notes are no longer required. Leave the field empty if you like.

Language and communication

This is new in Tengai 4.0.

  1. Choose the primary language. It's the language you manage the assignment in, and all candidate communication, such as invitations and reminders, uses it. You can choose only one: Swedish, English, Danish or Norwegian.

  2. Choose the interview language. These are the languages the candidate can take the interview in. You can choose one or more of the four languages.

Add interview questions

  1. Click Continue to 2/3: Interview questions.

  2. Want to start from an existing template? Click Open template, choose the template and click Add. The template's questions are added to the assignment.

  3. Click Interview questions to see the questions.

Remove a question: Select the question and choose Delete.

Import questions from the library: Choose Import questions and search for a keyword, for example "churn". Select the questions you want and click Add. They are added at the bottom of the list.

Create a temporary question: Isn't the question in the library?

  1. Choose Temporary question and write the question.

  2. Choose the question type: Yes/No, Free text or Voice.

  3. Click Preview and check that everything looks right.

  4. Click Add question. You can choose to save the question to the library. Otherwise, it exists only in this assignment.

Change the order: Drag the question to where you want it in the list.

Mark as a requirement: You can mark a question as a Requirement.

When the questions look the way you want, click Save and go back. A short summary is shown.

Availability (optional, new)

Select Ask about availability if you want the avatar to ask the candidate about their availability during the interview.

Salary message (optional, new)

  1. Click Add salary message and enter the salary information based on the role, for example "We offer a monthly salary of SEK 45,000."

  2. Click Preview. The information is translated automatically into the other languages.

  3. Click Save salary message when you're happy with it.

Personality

  1. Click Continue to 3/3: Personality and then Edit profile.

  2. Choose how the personality part is weighted. There are three preset profiles and one tailored:

  • Neutral profile: all six facets are weighted equally.

  • Thoroughness

  • Aspiration

  • Tailored profile: you adjust the weighting yourself until it feels right.

  1. Click Save and go back when you're done.

Preview and publish

  1. Click Preview assignment. It shows a summary of the whole assignment.

  2. Happy with it? Click Publish assignment. The assignment is added at the top of the list.

Add candidates

  1. Click Settings on the assignment and then Add candidates.

  2. Enter or paste the candidates' email addresses.

  3. Click Send invites. The candidates are added to the list.
