Tengai is developed to collect information about personality and competencies. So recruiters can spend more time finding information about the candidates' experiences and drive. By conducting a blind interview and focusing on the right parameters, Tengai mitigates the risk of unconscious bias and discrimination. Meaning that Tengai objectively can assess a candidate's competency and personality and not allow bias about a candidate's background or appearance to affect the hiring process. Tengai's algorithm never scores candidates' gender, nationality, or sexuality.

To take away any chance of possible discrimination based on appearance, we do not use facial recognition software. What our AI uses is facial tracking software, which enhances its human-like ability to keep eye contact but does not register what the interviewee looks like or their surroundings.
